DeWaynia was terrific. Now that I am over 40, it is high time I started taking care of my skin. DeWaynia explained what was going on without being overly chatty. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep. I've already scheduled my next facial! The location is convenient, the staff is friendly, ample parking, and beautiful/calm surroundings.

At the Still Point you will find a completely calming and rejuvenating spirit. I have been an acupuncture client for almost a year. My acupucturist is just incredibly gifted. Not only do I feel amazing afterwards, but my life has improved with the treatments. Over the summer I also received waxing treatments and the girl knew what she was doing. I was and am astonished that my face is not a red tomatoe after the treatments. The Still Point is amazing at the services they provide. Going to this day spa you will not only find the pampering that is so desired, but also a place that focuses on the well being of you. The Still Point makes a tremendous effort to cater to the needs of their clients. It's a place that is not just about making money, but truly caring for you.

I've been a massage client of The Still Point for several years now, and what keeps me coming back is the combination of a very talented and knowledgeable staff, a serene and attractive physical space, a series of products for sale that are focused on sustainability, the ease of making appointments, and a local owner who cares about her employees and the community. The Still Point has deep expertise in all types of massage and acupuncture, and more recently they've started offering services in nutrition, natural makeup, lifestyle consulting, and manis/pedis.

Nice Ambiance, But I Left With Bleeding Cuticles

The spa had a nice ambiance and the receptionist was super nice. With a baby overdue, I was very happy to get an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. About two toes into the pedicure, the lady doing my pedicure nicked my cuticle. I let her know and the rest of the pedicure was fine. But when she got to the manicure, she nicked the cuticle on EVERY SINGLE finger she did. (I finally had to stop her on the fourth one and tell her I needed to go.) The other thing that irked me was how slow the lady was. While it's great to have a nice, long, pampering pedicure, seeing as I was there almost an hour and a half and I didn't get any pampering, I wasn't too pleased. (I didn't even get a finished manicure and pedicure!) Why did it take so long? Because she was putting on polish like somebody without experience -- getting polish everywhere around the nail and then painstakingly taking it off. It looked like me when I was in middle school and learning how to use nail polish. I should have complained, I know, but being pregnant and tired, I just paid up and was relieved to leave.

A small space with a big heart. Had a wonderful massage and excellent, informative conversation about accupuncture. This is a very healing place with a wide variety of treament options. Don't go if you're looking for an over-the-top glam spa thing. Do go if you're interested in a healing, possibly enlightening experience.
