About Ki Spa Salon
Ki Spa Salon takes its name from the ancient Japanese word for energy, which the spa says is incorporated into all of its treatments. The spa's tranquil environment is appropriate for specialty and couples' massage, body treatments, facials, peels, microdermabrasion, waxing, manicures, and pedicures. Customized wedding parties are available. Signature treatments include Reiki, shirodhara (Ayurvedic therapy in which warm oil is poured on the forehead or "third eye") and Thai massage. Ki also offers a specific type of yoga that combines kundalini, raja, and sivananda techniques.

Mani and Pedi the best ever!
I have been to many so called "spas" over the years but as far as the manicure and pedicure, Ki Spa was in the top 3!! Private room, no cell phones allowed (yeah!), excellent foot bath in a clean copper bowl, not the tubs that are drained that I'm not so sure about. You don't feel like you are in the "pedicure line up". Same with the manicure; always in the wonderful recliner chair, not sitting at the table. A MUST experience! Kim was wonderful and took much time on my tired feet and hands. Can't wait to try the massage after Thanksgiving entertaining :)

I have been to Ki two times now. The first time my husband and I got a couples massage. While the massage itself was great, at Ki, they charged us almost $20 extra just for us to be in the same room!! I have never had that charge before, I felt totally ripped off. If I had known we would have chosen to be in separate rooms for sure. My second time there I was alone, and the lady up front really rubbed me wrong. She seemed phony and insincere. I felt so uncomfortable. I had my message, which again was really good (they have good therapists there for sure!). After it was over, at the counter, there was this huge spread of products for me to buy. Again the lady up front was awkward for me pressuring me and making me feel like I had to buy all these products. Really poor marketing and sales. So while the massages are really good at Ki, the atmosphere and ambiance is less than desired.

Speechless...You Must Visit Ki!
I dont know where to start, this spa is like no other. An atmosphere complete with candle lit hallways, soft music, tranquility all the way. The massage therapists work magic with their Tension Tamer Massage and the Jurlique Organic Anti Aging Facials are just magnificent! Another great treat was their pedicure/manicure room, just as relaxing as their massages, with reclining chairs, warm neck wrap you will be sent into a trance! There is no better place to spend your spa time than Ki Spa, if you are local or find yourself in Wilmington on vacation, make sure you book yourself for a day of true relaxation. It is a treat not to be missed!

I have always loved this place! The services are amazing and the staff is super caring. I recommend the 90 minute Aromatherapy Facial and the Bamboo & Lemongrass Body polish.

The atmosphere and staff are to die for! I really felt relaxed and at ease with the whole experience. I had the green tea mud wrap, just wanting to try for something new, and I like the idea of a detox. Truly amazing.

Ki Spa is Consistently Good
No matter what service I get, the staff and Ki Spa always have me feeling pampered and refreshed. My husband knows that he can't go wrong with a holiday gift from Ki. Ahhhhh.

Exactly What I Needed
I have been to many spas around the country and I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have had. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff was extremely welcoming. I had a Radiant Peel facial and my skin felt incredible. I also had a pedicure with a 30 minute reflexology session and it was heaven. I asked her about different pressure points on my feet and she answered without hesitation. I'm certainly impressed and will return. Thank you! Ashly

Didn't get what I paid to receive
It's possible that I didn't get what I paid for simply because the manicurist was distracted the day I had my spa day, however, when I told the receptionist of my experience my hopes of turning around the disappointment were denied. I politely explained the following to the spa. I had received a $200 gift certificate for a stone pedicure (1hr), Ki manicure (.5hr), and age defy facial (1.5hours). In her distraction, the manicurist left me with my feet soaking in warm water and stones (the only contact I had with stones) until the water was cold. When she reappeared she proceeded to rush through the massage portion of my promised 1 hour pedicure. The manicure was no better. My cuticles are only slightly more conditioned (forgot to put cuticle oil on one hand) and neglected to remove my driving calluses. When that portion of my pampering was complete, she forgot to separate my toes so that the polish would be preserved and had to touch up my toenails. The manicurist was sweet to provide me with a snack from her purse because she knew that I was hungry and they had no fruit or snack of any kind to provide me while I was there through the lunch hours. I appreciated her concern. The true 5-star spas I have routinely visited in the past provided fruit, at the bare minimum, for their clientele. My facial was nice and I liked the products, although I only had one side of my face steamed and it ended 10 minutes early. I simply wanted to get what was promised and what we paid for, but when I called to speak with a manager, who was unavailable, I was told that they were sorry about my disappointment and would simply give me a "buff and shine" worth $20. Frankly, that was insulting. My services were 20 minutes short and their offer of a $20 credit hardly replaces the $60 stone pedicure (minus the hot stones), an incomplete manicure and a short and incomplete age delay facial ($115). I was hoping that I had found a new spa to replace the wonderful spas I had been accustomed to before I moved here. I won't be back even for the free "buff and shine". The lack of management concern sealed that deal for me.

Best in Wilmington
I am originally from New York City and I moved to Wilmington last year. Before I move down I always got a facial once a month and the Jurlique Spa on West Broadway. I heard that Ki Spa used Jurlique organic products and I went to check it out. So Surprised! Great atmosphere, awesome staff, perfect facial. I will be back! Thank You.

Very caring staff
A wonderfully relaxing experience that was long overdue! The staff was caring, addressed my needs and suggested products based on my concerns. At a few of the spas that I have been to, you feel that the staff is pushing certain products based on what will earn them the biggest commissions and this is definitely not one of those places! Ki is a great local day spa, with an ample list of services and if the rest of the services are anything like the Ki massage and the Ki facial that I experienced, they are nicely priced for what you get
