East meets west at the New Jersey-based Flic Spa LLC, which offers guests an array of Asian-inspired treatments, including its signature Royal Pacific Raindance Therapies. Inspired by the ancient royal treatments of Hawaii, Indonesia, and the Philippines, the three Flic Raindance Therapies--Balinese Jamu, Hawaiian lomi-lomi, and Philippine hilot-hilot--incorporate massage techniques with polished volcanic stones, fragrance oils of exotic flowers, and gentle tropical rain. Facials, body treatments, and traditional massages, such as Swedish, reiki, and Thai reflexology, are also available. Guests are provided with plush terry bathrobes, as well as access to the shower and sauna. The 1,400-square-foot spa also houses a roomy couple's suite, a hydrotherapy vichy shower room, and a spacious reception area ideal for girls-only spa events and bridal showers.

Who knew that such an oasis was just a few minutes away at Flic Spa? This gem of a day spa was a delightful find and I will definitely be making a repeat visit. Oliver and Lerrick, the two owners, have really created something truly special. Picture this: a unique blend of Fillipino massage techniques (very cool), spa decor that accomplishes both sophisticated sheik AND warmly inviting, and little details that make the experience of going to Flic stand out from any other spa you've been to recently (I mean, can you say heated spa tables???). I can't say enough great things about them. Add to all that, their prices are reasonable. Go to Flic spa, it won't disappoint.

I have "done" a lot of spas over the years, with mixed results: some good, some great, some poor. But, with those experiences, I know what I would like to see in a spa now: great personal service, an eye for the details that make it unique, a truly blissful relaxing experience where I made to feel special for the time I am there. For me, Flic Spa has got it right in every way. One of the best spa experiences I have ever had! Oliver and Lerrick, the owners of Flic, really have got it right. They have created a place that truly caters to you, showcasing so many delicate and refined touches, with a personal flourish, elegance and warmth that I have rarely ever seen in a spa. On top of that, one of the best massages I have ever had. I will definitely be back.

What a day at the spa

Today I went toflic spa for the very first time. I had the most wonderful experience in my life from the first moment I walk in the door. I was treated great by the owners. Who just greeted me like i was a personal friend, and from that moment on, I was the only person that matter. They even greeted me by my first name. Next the massage therapist came out and greeted me the same way. As she walked me to the treatment room named Wailea, she talk to me as thought we were old friend, and made me feel like i didn't have a care in the world. all before she started the massage. The green walls, and the white sails were so beaitful and relaxing. My massage started with this wonderiful foot soak in a beautiful copper bowl with rose patels and a cup of tea. I just sat back and relaxed for about 10min, which felt like a life time. Since I have 4 kids at home I never get a minute to myself. After the pampering she started my massage, and O M G when i recieve my massage it was the best thing that i have ever experienced in my life. I will go back again

I wanted to do some thing different with my boyfriend and someone suggested a copules massage and Flic Spa. When we arrived we meet Dana and Lerrick. Two of the best people I have ever meet. Dana asked me if there was any particular place I was her to concetrate on and made me feel very comfortable that she was knowledgeable in her job. When they took us into the room it was BEAUTIFUL AND ROMATNIC! The tea and foot soak was great especially since it was cold outside. Dana's hands were soft but firm and made me so relaxed I forgot my surroundings. She was GREAT! And the bonus was my boyfriend enjoyed his so much with Lerrick that he was ready to go back the next month. If you are looking for a great get away FLIC SPA will take you there.

Run, don't walk, o the best day spa on the planet, FLiC Spa. You will be astounded at what serenity and beauty await you amidst the hustle and bustle of Broad Street in Bloomfield. You will be transported, mind, body and spirit, to another world. A world where tension and stress do not exist. Larry and Oliver, the owners, run a world class operation. They are perfectionists and really get to know their clients and their individual needs to customize your spa experience. You feel as if you are their only client when you are there. An experience befitting of a Queen or King. I guarantee that this spa and your massage therapist will greatly exceed any expectations you may have. The facials are spectacular also. One visit is all it takes to get hooked on this place. You haven't lived until you have experienced this spa. I find it more relaxing than actually going on vacation. It is truly an oasis. FLic Spa will astound and amaze you. Don't hesitate to book your spa treatment today.

One Of A Kind Experience

As an avid workout guru, I spend most of my days strength training, cycling, swimming, and cardio exercises. After working out 6 days a week; I wanted a sense of relaxation that will soothe my whole body as well as my mind and spirit. The deep tissue massage and foot massage made me feel so rejuvenated. All my muscles felt so relieved with the masseuse graceful hands. The music in the background made me lost in translation. Every gym should have membership to Flic Spa...really a one of a kind experience.

So rejuvanating and the best anniversary we ever had

WOW! We had our Anniversary here; FLiC Spa made it the most wonderful, wonderful Anniversary we ever had! The couple's suite was to die for. The energy in that room reflected relaxation and my husband and i just instantly felt closer together. Super comfy, cozy, white fluffy robes. Nice foot soaking in copper tubs with warm mineral oils and rose petals while sipping on Champaign and having some exotic chocolates. Then the best hot stone message you could ask for. The stress just melted away. Not only do they focus on your problem areas...it felt like we got re-aligned and we felt more centered and at one with ourselves. Ohhh and a super soothing facial and scalp massage that one could never imagine! They provided us with refreshing white tea to drink at the end and we felt like we were a new person. The staff was so kind, generous, gentle, very well mannered and so professional. They made it 100x more enjoyable and relaxing **Such an absolute perfect day. Many many Thanks to Flic Spa

I picked this spa randomly on the internet because of their featured Royal Pacific Raindance Therapies. I called to inquire about making and appointment and also about their treatments and Oliver was very professional and informative. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by a calming atmosphere and a kind face behind the front desk. Once I entered my massage room that was transformed into an Island Oasis I was instantly relaxed. Everything the website explained about the treatment was exact and 100 times more. I felt like I was the only client in the office for the day and that the only thing that mattered was me and my massage. I was so calm after leaving I felt as though I had just woken up from a nice relaxing nap. I was energized, relaxed, and my skin looked amazing after my sea salt body scrub. ! I have had body treatments and very expensive spa treatments, but nothing measures up to Flic Spa in Bloomfield, NJ. I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking to relax and be pampered like a queen or king! I will definitely go back for monthly/bimonthly getaways!

I truely found a diamond in the rough with Flic Spa !!!! As a regular spa-goer, this was one of the BEST massages I ever experienced! From the moment I enter the reception area, I felt relaxed and excited for what lied ahead. The staff was completely professional, curtious and appreciative of my interest in their services. Oliver was so nice and helpful in describing the details of some of their services offered and booking my appt. Casey, my masseuse was extremely pleasant and hospitable. She began my service with a warm foot bath soak comprised of 12 different fruit/fragrance oils and a floating candle which immediatly eased away my stress and tension. My Swedish massage was by far one of the best I have ever had. I topped off my retreat with a men's facial. I walked out of the spa so relaxed and re-newed. I highly recommend this spa. Turn off your cell phone, tune out the world and let Flic Spa re-envigorate you.

I cannot begin to put into words the most amazing experience we had at Flic Spa. We had received massages before, but never like this. First, let me state that the salon was completely booked and they opened an hour early to service us. When you enter, you almost immediately feel relaxed. The staff was very professional, yet welcoming. You enter the room, which is beautifully decorated and very serene. Robes, followed by tea and a foot massage. The massage itself was amazing and rejuvinating. We are definitely going back next every month and cannot wait. I never thought that a salon in the heart of Bloomfield would be as amazing as this one was. Just because it is not in a fancy hotel, does not mean that this salon is not worth every penny. I will never go anywhere else!
