Sunlight Day Spa

I have gone to Sunlight twice for an Express Facial. I love the foot bath and drink provided before services, so relaxing! The services have been amazing, and the staff was very kind and accommodating. It is a little pricey, but worth it to me.

This was absolutely amazing! I had my ears candled, got a marine detox wrap and a sauna session. The staff was incredibly kind (Tara) tended to all my services and followed up with a thank you letter and an opportunity to get a free facial. They treated me like royalty. They even gave me some free samples as I had forgotten to pack my facial cleanser and the samples were top-of-the-line. I liked the complimentary beverages and mouthwash available in the locker room. After leaving I felt like a new woman and agreed 45 can be the new 21! I cannot wait to get back to this spa!

I went there with a spa finder gift certificate, because I had a friend that had been there before and said it was worth checking out. I was floored when I got there. Everything is very modern, clean and inviting. I was put in a robe and given a foot soak before my service. This was the perfect way to start the relaxation process! I had an amazing massage after that, and I also tried the sauna and was very impressed. It is a little pricier than what I'm used to, but it is absolutely worth it! I will definitely be back in the future.

I have been getting bikini waxes at various salons over the past 13 years. This is the first (and hopefully last) time that I ever leave a bikini wax bruised. The spa was clean and decor was minimal...The locker room was okay. Someone had flung their bra across one of the benches in the locker room. When I was shown back to the locker room by my escort, rather than picking it up and hanging it in a more appropriate spot, she left it there. So, I got undressed next to the random bra, and went to wait for my appointment. I was getting ready to leave for vacation and just wanted a regular bikini wax, nothing crazy. The esthetician started waxing away and rewaxed the same spots over, and over again. Unlike most other waxes I have had, she didn't use much pressure when applying the wax strip or counter-pressure when ripping it off. It was highly painful, and worse than any wax I have ever had. Once it was finally over, I got dressed and she mentioned that I bruised only slightly. What? To add to it, literally, the price says that a bikini wax starts at $25. My bill was $45. This was also a first. I have never been upcharged. Bottom line, me and my bikini line will stick with Bijin.

I was considering the Reiki treatment at this spa. I called to inquire about it, asking if the treatment was performed by a certified reiki master, and if it included a physical massage as well. The receptionist who answered the phone was extremely rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to offer any more information besides "uh-huh" and "no" (with quite the attitude) to the questions i asked. She then hung up the phone without even thanking for the call or saying goodbye. I don't understand how they expect to get any kind of business with these sales tactics. I hung up the phone feeling like my questions were even more unanswered than before I called, as well as feeling rather insulted by her uncalled for rudeness. I will most definitely not be making an appointment with this uninviting place that is supposed to be considered a relaxing escape.

I really enjoyed my time at Sunlight Spa. The cleanliness of the facility and friendlinessof the staff was above and beyond. I can't wait to go back.

The set up is not so relaxing...my massage was good but the facial was below average...the "Sauna" was overrated. I would go back for a massage...just wish the spa set up was a little more private and relaxing

Loved the atmosphere. So relaxing. Rose petal food soak and snack were lovely touches. Would highly recommend this spa. Great staff

The spa was so easy to get to. Once I was there I was completely taken care of by the wonderful staff. The spa was gorgeous. It was the best massage and facial I have ever had and Ive had plenty. I will most certainly be back with friends next time. The sauna was wonderful too.
