We went here for a spa package and got a massage, manicure and pedicure. The place was clean they took us in right away on time and the package cost about half of what I usually pay for the same kind of service. My daughter and I will definitely be back here at the next opportunity.

Just finished laser on my legs and Maya was great. A real professional. I know I got a great deal overall since I do my homework when it comes to these kinds of outlays. Recently I had a facial done there as well and again I was very happy with the service and the overall experience. I obviously cannot speak for some of these people but I like this place and am happy with everything here.

I have come to this spa twice and both times I have had great experiences. They do have a few people working so you kind do need find someone that you like. I have been there for Brazilian wax with Ira and have had mani and pedi with Marta. I can agree some what about the place being a little busy at first but the price that I paid and the results, at least for me speak for themselves. I will be back and recommend vada to my friends all the time.

The European's they have working at the front desk r not polite & come off rude & too rushed 2 help you. The lady who did my nails was the sweetest thing but she didn't know how to really do nails. I spent $65 on mani/ped/massage and the nails started chipping before the day ended. This could be because only some of the polishes are top on the line polish. AND she painted all the way up to the cuticle if not on the tiny cuticles she trimmed. Makes me wonder if any of these lady's had properly training to do nails. #1 nail rule should be leave a tiny space between polish and cuticle so it doesn't look messy. Even though I'm not a nail tech. I have an artistic eye and I know your nails aren't suppose have a jagged borderline between your nail and cuticle. Also the lay out of this place was poorly constructed. They have the front desk too close to finger nail station. I experienced people bumping into my chair as I was getting my nails down. NOT RELAXING!! This place was more like a fast pace/busy unrelaxing over price spa. I would suggest they redue there lay out so it's a relaxing atmosphere, retrain their front desk on proper cust. serv, make sure their tech's r trained by a school. Don't waste ur $$ folks!!!!!!!!!!

It's not a fancy peaceful spa but it's conveniently located near my job so I come here once in awhile to get my nails done. Cheap prices and they do a decent job. I've had one of the best massage here by Eric. He really worked out the knots and I always request him when I come here for a massage.

going to get right to the point: 1. manicurist took her tools out of a dirty makeup case in her pocket instead of disinfecting machine. i asked her to please disinfect and she told me "not to worry" and i insisted again. she got a cup and waved the tools in front of me. unfortunately she didnt disinfect her file and she cut me under my toe and it became infected a day later. when i informed the spa, they told me to send them a picture of my toe. ARE U SERIOUS? then the front desk manager Kate told me that i didnt hear her apologize bc i was too busy listening to myself and hung up on me. DO YOU WANT TO FREQUENT A PLACE LIKE THIS?? NO WAYYY 2. they did an awful job on my friends mani and pedi. she was done in less than half hour- no massage, no lotion- manicurist didnt even buff her nails and painted onto her cuticles. She left and had to repolish. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!

the spa was not a spa. Its like a nail/hair salon. I had a massage and mani done there. first they made me wait like 15 mins. the 3 receptionist there ignore me when I told them I had a appt. I was getting real annoyed because about 3 manicurist walked past me. without acknowledging me having an appt. I thought maybe I was having a reg. mani while others having spa mani. Finally the boss had to tell one of them to serve me and give me a spa mani. which make it worst, my mani didn;t last for 2 days. my nails were chipping in the middle of my friend's wedding. I was so embarrase. i couldn't even pose for a picture without putting my hands in bk of me. also i didn't like my massage. the lady seems not to be "there". she just kept on rubbing me ignoring my prob area. pressure was not good.

Full body wax

SpaFinder promoted this spa so you would think the spa would accept SpaFinder certificates which they will but not at their full value. They claim that they have to pay a fee for accepting them so they decide to pass it along to the customer. I tried to explain that to me, the SpaFinder gift certificate is like cash and I should not have to pay anything additional to use it. The argument was not a favorable way to be introduced to the spa. It was a very good rate for a full body wax and eventhough I wasn't doing my whole body, the individual parts would have added up to a lot more priced separately. The technician was experienced and didn't seem to mind reapplying wax where I told her she missed. I've been getting waxed for more years than I can remember and some hair is ALWAYS missed but it's the attitude (and aptitude) when asked to go over it again that matters. The service quality was good enough to return.

When I think of going to spa, I think of a relaxing atmosphere and receiving quality treatment. The receptionists are not not very welcoming, they should learn to smile. They do offer you wine probably so you can forget where you are. I wanted a hydrating body treatment and they advised getting the Chocolate Mousse Wrap, which was complete garbage and a waste of time and money. My skin was dry hours later, body lotion does a better job. The service by the technician itself was fine, professional, if you're looking to just get a service done and be in and out then I would suggest this place. They do not have changing rooms. The place was very noisy. Afterward I received a microdermabrasion, which I must say was good. My technician's name was Victoria, and she was professional. My friend received a hot stone massage, which she did enjoy, she felt the masseuse could have applied more pressure. The bad thing is that her bed was not heated and ppl kept walking past the room and the entire floor shook. Not a pleasant spa experience, I would pay more to get the "spa" ambiance. I did get a manicure also, which I thought was excellent, the manicurist was Rhona.

I bought this facial manicure and pedicure deal from this deal website. I must say that I was very much pleasantly surprised. I was not to sure what to expect but for 60 bucks it was really a great deal not to pass up. I forgot the person's name who performed my facial but she was excellent. I had facials done at other spa where I paid more and really the result was better here. My mani and pedi could have been a little better, I was not to fond of the mask they used but still my feet felt soft and very nice when it was all done. I will be back as I don't live to far away and will tell my friends.

this is the worst spa ever in my life most of the staff look like they are not proffesional at all and the way me and my friend were treated was not very pleasant. when we arrived the first thing the lady said was what we were having in a very rushing way, she offered some complimentary wine, but that's not exactly what we wanted, she didnt tell us what other services they have, you know a business always want to offer more things to atract custumer. We had , well at least we tried to have brite smile whitening teeth symtem and the results, we ended up with tha same enamel color, the brazilian wax was not good, the lady was rushing and left some hairs where she souldnt, the manicure and pedi , awful, im telling you, dont get full by nice advertisement like 3 services for $ dollars, its better if you pay full price in a truly proffesional spa, like studio Sthetique or queen janes were they make you feel welcome

30 min massage is so good so it's not enough!

I decided to try the vada spa by going for a 30 min massage. it was more than what I expected. the hot massage bed was so comfortable I didn't want to go back. The techniques they use go beyond a standard swedish massage too which I found really effective. I also did a eyebrow threading which I thought was going to be really painful. but they were really experienced so it's not bad at all. Love the experience overall expecially with their very reasonable price.

I have been to many, many spas, from San Francisco, New York City, Colorado Springs, Las Vegas etc and I have NEVER been treated so badly than at this spa. Between my sister and I, we booked over $500.00 in services. The person that gave me my massage had no clue as to how to give a half decent massage. Elana, the person that gave me my facial was late, examined my skin, THEN decide to go wash her hands, quickly cleaned my face, applied an exfoliating mask, left the room for 5 minutes, came back, did some extractions, applied another mask, told me that it had to stay on for 15 minutes, she left the room again for that time. When she returned, she took the mask off, applied a moisturizer and told me to go down stairs for my manicure and pedicure. That was all ! Def. not a 60 minute facial. Went down stairs and waited and waited and waited for someone to tell me where to go or what to do. Finally someone asked me if I was waiting for a mani and pedi. I said yes. They walked away. Another person asks me the same thing.....this occurs 3 times before someone finally shows me where to go. Manicure and Pedicure....THEY DO NOT STERALIZE THEIR EQUIPMENT!!!!!!! Also, I had 2 $50.00 SpaFinder gift cards and they told me that I could only use 1 of them. Worst, worst, worst spa EVER!!!!!!! ......my services were a week ago and believe me, I've calmed down since then!

A great first experience

I was a total spa virgin prior to visiting Vada, so I may not have much to compare it to, but I had a very nice time. I got a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure. The massage and facial were very relaxing, but I was a bit disappointed with the nail services I received. The nail technician kept stopping to answer her phone, did not give me the services I requested, swore under her breath, and buffed my fingers until I bled. I would not return for those particular services, but I found the massage therapist and aesthetician very pleasant and was convinced not to let the botched manicure ruin my experience. One thing I greatly appreciated was that I was never pressured to upgrade my services or to purchase any products. The facility was welcoming and nicely decorated. All in all, I left feeling too pampered to care much about my stinging fingers.

Disorganization left me very disappointed

I got the royal spoil and started out with a mud wrap (which was fine it just was not my cup of tea). I then went back to the room to wait for my massage therapist. I was in there for a while until the door opened to a concerned woman. She needed me to move downstairs to her room so I obliged. The massage started out great. I was relaxed and falling asleep. Then all of a sudden her cell phone went off. I was done from then on. I just kept thinking, "That is so unprofessional." Next, it was time to for my mani/pedi. So, I went upstairs and no one was waiting for me to help me to my next location. I walked up the frazzled front desk who told me to pick a color. I did and again waited until finally someone told me to go to the pedicure station. Again a cell phone rang but this time it was the pedicurist. She proceeded to answer it and talk on the phone as she did my toes. She then told me I didn't need certain things that came with my package, "Your feet are too beauitful." But after my toes, she passed me off to another woman because her break and a cigarette were more important than doing her job which was to give me a proper pedicure. By the way, my manicurist was very nice. Four people performed services on me and nobody knew what I was getting done or what was going on and nobody communicated. It was extremely annoying. You should find a more reputable spa if you want a good experience. Otherwise instead of leaving relaxed, you'll leave angry and even more stressed out than how you walked in the door.

I live in the area and usually try to get some services done in a spa/salon regularly. I tried this place out when it first opened got a mani and pedi from Mary and it was OK just as good as my regular place. But the price was almost half of what I normally pay and the manicure lasted. I just got my legs waxed and again it was under 30 bucks, great price. The job done was not worse then my $75 place (I won't mention them, they're good but the cost!) I can definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be coming back.
