I saw Valerie for a brazilian wax and being from Los Angeles I definitely had my reservations but I was blown away by the visit! First off, once I entered the spa I was transported to a serene and welcoming environment and was then met by Valerie. I have traveled extensively and have had spa treatments worldwide and I must say that Valerie is the epitomy of a "Top Notch" Esthetician. She is well educated and meticulous in her work. I would recommend her to everyone and especially to spa virgins, as you always want your first experience to be a memory of a lifetime!

As I am known among my friends as a "spa goer", I have received Spa Finder gift certificates for presents. Unfortunately, there are really no places that accept them close to my home. So a search I undertook and happened on Val's salon as a choice. What a lucky find! Val is extremely personable, knowledgeable, but not pushy. She made me so comfortable. The building is easy to find and is gorgeous. Even though she is a 90 minute drive, I will definitely be seeing her again!

I ended up finding this wondeful place through the Spa Finder website and found it by looking for a place with the best reviews! There were so many wonderful reviews I had to look into Val's services more. I have been to receive facials in the past however this was one of the best to date! Val was so wonderful and offered wonderful advice for skin's care, offering samples at the end that best suited my skin type. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful. I ended up purchasing a beautiful ring and bought my mother a slide for Mothers day (which she loved) at such a great price. The overalI facial was wonderful, I had some acne that with the help from Val was gone the next day, and my skin felt so clean and refreshed!! I appreciated the fact that Val was honest about my skins condition seeing that so many other places try to be polite. Val was polite and honest which is what I was looking for. Overall it was a great experience and I look forward to making an appointment as soon as possible. Thanks Val!!

This was my first time to Valerie for the "Soule to Sole." I had a SpaFinder Gift certificate and located her via the website. Her facilities are located in a beautiful antique building in downtown Nashua. The building was so gorgeous that I had to walk around after my treatment to take it all in! Valerie was on target to other reviews I read prior to my visit. She is sooooo personable! You feel like you've known her for years & start off already relaxed. She makes you feel VERY comfortable at ALL times. She has state-of-the-art equipment & knows A LOT about skin. She even did research about my current facial products before my treatment to see what my skin could take! I LOVED it! I will definitely go back for more... Maybe try a waxing! The only one small negative thing I could possibly say is that I would have preferred the treatment room be darker. It was bright and I'm used to treatments being in near-darkness. Guess the light make it's easier for her to see what she's doing! DUH!

I first saw Val in September 2009 as a birthday gift. For months before Val, I had suffered from recurring zit cysts on my hairline to the point that I was scarring. Val immediately assessed my face and asked me what products I was using; Max Factor pressed foundation and St. Ives Apricot Scrub. The look of horror on Val's face said it all and she told me to discard the products in the garbage immediately; they were...GASP...pore cloggers!!! Then....she saved my face! The cysts have not returned and I have minimal breakouts (and those are only related to my period!). Since then, I've gotten numerous compliments on my, now flawless, skin. In November, I had my 10 year High School reunion and people were asking me what I was doing to my skin because it looked so good!! My secret is Val! Every month, I pick a different service that Val offers. I've had the Custom Facial, Rock and Rub, Reiki, and today....the Zensational Facial. I recommend them all. Today's facial was super amazing, and I told Val I felt "paralyzed with relaxation" which, as a mom, rarely happens. Val is my therapy, my treat, my sanctuary, and my body's need. I keep going back to Val not only because she's amazing at what she does and her more than reasonable prices, but because of her energy, personality, and personal connection to her clients. When you walk in the door to Val's studio, you're walking into a friends where there are no judgements and you can feel completely comfortable. I'm blessed to have Val in my life and look forward to my monthly visits with my friend who's healing energy has helped me in so many ways. Love you Val!

I am very happy to recommend Val's salon. As an aesthetician she is knowledgable, professional, and warm. She is connected with her community and is an excellent resource for all sorts of businesses and services in the area. She clearly cares about her customers' wants/needs and is willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent service.

I have been getting facials and eyebrow waxing done at Val's for about 2 years now. Val is a wonderful person who goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and pampered. Her spa is very clean and relaxing and she also have some very cool make-up, jewelery and beautiful shoulder wraps for sale. She is not pushy with her sales but very knowledable and willing to help and explain everything. Besides her wonderful spa Val is an excellent esthetician who makes you feel welcome and she is a very nice and genuine person.

I am in my mid forties and have been going to Val for all my skin care treatments and products for over 7 years now. Skin care has always been a priority for me and I've been getting facials since my early 20's. I found Val by chance thru my local gym and what a find it was! She is the most wonderful person and really knows her business. Her treatments are very effective and relaxing . . . I always leave her spa feeling pampered and refreshed. Val always recommends the best treatment for my skin at the time of my visit and is never pushy in selling her skin care products. She always let's me try out the products first and if I'm not happy I can return them (I never have). I'm a true believer and now I use all her skin care products and her makeup line as well. As I mentioned at the beginning of this review I am in my mid forties, but many people I meet think I'm 10 years younger! Thanks Val for all your help you make me feel beautiful everyday!

After a couple of years of searching for someone in NH who would do a brazilian wax as adeptly & non-judgmentally (a couple of local spas acted like I was a tart for wanting one in the first place) as my amazing waxer in So. Cal., I was about to give up, when I decided to give my search one more shot & somehow I happened upon Val (if she'd been on spafinder back then, I'd have been saved a lot of aggravation!). Not only is she crazy-good (fast, thorough & as close to pain free as something like this can get) at waxing, she's also a complete doll! Her new place is gorgeous & tranquil, & while she has a very nurturing vibe, she's also hysterically funny, which is a wonderful distraction when you're getting waxed. I can't rave about her enough!

My waxing experiences prior to meeting Val were nothing to rave about. I jumped from salon to salon trying to find someone to wax my lip, brow and bikini area and never found anyone who I cared to see more than once. Then I met Val. After my first experience with her I swore I never would see anyone else again. Val really cares about the services she provides. She takes the time to study your face and gives you the most perfect looking eyebrows every time. Bikini waxes are never fun, but Val has a way about her that makes you relax and before you know it you are done and probably had a few laughs along the way. Val is a true gem and everyone who I have recommended Val to has always thanked me for it. You will to.

I have been a client of Valerie's for about 5 years now, and I would never go anywhere else. Valerie welcomes you to your appointment as if you were a dear friend, even if you are meeting her for the first time. I have problem skin and Valerie always finds the perfect combo to soothe my irritation and any other issues that I might have. She takes the time to listen to what you need, and has many wonderful product lines that can help you achieve exactly what you're looking for. Val is a one woman show so you get a wonderful, personal experience when you visit her. Her location is in the heart of Nashua and easy to get to. I highly recommend you give her a try!

Not only are her prices extremely reasonable, the treatment you get from Val is top-notch. She makes you feel comfortable as soon as you enter the spa, and always takes the time to answer your questions. She has great recommendations for skin care and you leave there feeling rejuvenated and glowing. It is a visit which I always look forward to and would highly recommend.

Aesthetics by Val is the place for anyone who is intimidated or just turned off by the big fancy snooty salon/spa type places. Val's space is very intimate and calming, and it smells really good. I always get there a few minutes early just to relax before my appointment. As far as the facial experience, it is AMAZING. Val has a way about her that makes everyone feel like a close friend at the first appointment. She takes time to evaluate each client's skin so no 2 facials are the same. By the time you leave, you may need to take a taxi home you'll be so relaxed! Bottom line, I would recommend Val to anyone. Her services are well worth twice the price and she's a total rock star.

This Spa is a DEFINITE must to go to. It is very focused on "you" and only you. It is not one of those day spas where people are lined up for various appointments. ITS ALL ABOUT YOU! The Owner of the Spa, Valerie could not be anymore pleasant and is a real person. She is very well educated when it comes to skin care. I had a facial and let me tell you, what a bargain. You most definelty get more than your money's worth! This was the best birthday gift I received from a friend of mine that lives in New Hampshire. (I live in Mass) and I must say, I feel like I won the lottery. You cannot beat the intimate atmosphere either. YOU SIMPLY NEED TO TRY IT, AND THEN YOU'LL KNOW. Would rate this MORE than five stars if I could.

What can I say? I longer can have anyone else take care of my skin's needs now that I've had Val!! Her knowledge, technique, products and personal touch makes each visit a special one! I leave with my skin and heart refreshed, replenished and happy! Every time I come she always has some new updated offering......always on the cutting edge for skin health! I live in the caribbean and visit boston a few times a year. I know I should be having facials more than a few times a year, and have tried several other aesteticians but I found it very disappointing now that I've had the best. I look forward to each visit with Val and especially love her energy!! She is so worth the trip from USVI To New Hampshire!! and she takes care of me from afar sending my products when I need them!! It's not just a facial.....it's an experience for the body and soul!

Once you enter into the haven of tranquility you will be instantly removed from the stress of the day. Aesthetics by Valerie is an amazing experience! It's one you will definitely want to repeat again and again! Val is an amazing person who is totally focused on you during your time with her. She provides amazing Reiki, facial, and relaxation treatments that have you leaving her as if you're floating! Val has a way of making you feel special and is genuinely happy to see you. She remembers you and what's happening in your life (if you choose to blab away while your with her!). Val is a person of integrity so I feel comfortable to share with her! I have many medical issues and Val is always checking to see what helped me feel better (any time with her makes me feel better!). Val's costs are very reasonable for such a personal touch and a professional treatment! What more can I tell you - Val is a beautiful person inside and out who you will love spending time with and your body will thank you! Aesthetics by Valerie is a wonderful place to go if you're looking for that intimate spa experience. Valerie is a wonderful Aesthetician, who has a lot of experience in Aesthetics. I've had a lot of facials and none of them compare to the facial that she gives. She is very gentle and gives a great massage. Valerie also offers makeup and skincare products. She has a lot of knowledge on each product that she sells in her shop. I would recommend this to anyone and can't wait to go back!

Valerie is a beautiful human who cares deeply about her profession and also cares about the quality of her services. In a quaint suite she offered me a wonderful "foot facial" as well as a microdermabrasion. She took great care of me and is dedicated to giving her best. She's fun and happy which is why I'm a client for life. I would follow her to the ends of the earth!! ;) Thanks for taking such great care of me Val...I'll see you soon..

The moment you walk into this small salon, you are surrounded by a sense of peacefulness. From the warm and welcoming decor in a historic old building, to the sound of the bell fountain and the smell of the incense, calm permeates the space. Val herself is personable and a consumate professional, full of good tips and great humor. I cannot recommend this spa highly enough.

Valerie is very knowledgeable and friendly. Her spa is very cute and relaxing. She sells a fabulous arrangement of beautiful jewelry along with great skin care products and makeup. Her prices and service is amazing! Highly recommendable.
