Besides finding the spa, I had a very tranquil experience. (Make sure you look up directions as you can't see the spa from the road.) The atmosphere is calming and the staff is welcoming. I had a facial with extractions and was very pleased with the service and vibes of the place.

The title says it all. It was a terrible experience and I wouldn't touch them again with a 10 foot pole! There are so many other wonderful spas in the area, why waste my time and money on these people?! The people I dealt with were rude and completely unprofessional.

The packages allow time to celebrate yourself. Relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable.

I have been a guest at this spa for many many years and I absolutely love it. I am not sure what the other reviews are talking about but I have found everyone that works there to be very polite and professional. I have taken lots of family members, friends and even my boyfriend here and they all have come back for more treatments again. Like the previous guest I also ask for Maria whenever I get a treatment done. She is amazing, she makes you feel so relaxed and comfortable no matter what treatment you are having done. The only thing I wish that they would change about this place is to add some new services. I have tried everything at least once and while they are great it would be nice to try something new that some other spas offer (instead of the same treatments year after year.)

I recently redeemed my Spa Finder gift card at Tranquility Spa. I got a facial package and after 2 treatments I could see the difference. I also got compliments on how my skin looks soooo good (no makeup!). I have all my appointments with Maria who has amazing hands and a sharp eye for detail. She took the time to explain my treatments and how it would take time. She always made me comfortable and gave me advices after every treatment. Thanks Tranquility Spa for having such a gem. I look forward to going back! This spa is the best Westchester has to offer and I agree 100%!

I have been to this spa several times because of gift cards and that is the only reason. Everyone knows NOT to give me gift certificates for this spa. I am also telling everyone NOT to go to this spa. The massage therapist was terrible there was no pressure it felt like a she was rubbing my back. The facial was awful, she was using a pin in my pores. I don't know what happened to this place but it's the WORST SPA AROUND!!!! REALLY DON'T GO HERE!!!

The staff is very nice and the actual experience is one of the best in westchester for atmosphere. A lot of "spas" just have waiting rooms. There is full access to a steam room, showers, nice music in the waiting room. Wish they still had mani/pedis.

Have been to this spa on numerous occassions and I have to agree with other reviews that the rooms are cold! Carmela is the best massage therapist they have so definatley request her!

I recently had a massage and facial at Tranquility Spa. My friend recommended that I go to Tranquility. I had the best massage ever from a therapist named Alicia. The facial was also great with the exception of the room being a little cold, but Terri the estatition turned on a space heater to accomidate my needs. I will definitely go back. I highly recommend the steam room. It is strong and really loosens you up for the massage.

I have been going to this spa for 15 years. When a new spa opened in the area, I tired it, but the therapists were not great. Tranquility has had the same massage therapists for over 15 years - the experience shows and I just had the best massage by Carmella. I also had a sea salt body scrub - wonderful - and asked the front desk to get me some breakfast from Panera, next door. They were quite nice and would not even accept a tip for going outside for me. I do not understand the other comments on this site. Any time I had a minor issue - such as needing a bigger robe - it was taken care of. The most important aspect of a spa is the therapists, and Tranquility's are top notch.

this place is somewhere i will never go to again. when i walked in, there was a lady claiming she was going to sue the person who did her facial because her skin was burned and another lady outside warning me not to go in..... I tried to cancel my massage after hearing this lady and i was very honest about why, and despite the fact that they should have been embarrassed and just let me go they refused without charging me so i stayed and as predetermined i had a young girl who was practically out of school, she talked during the massage and it felt like i was getting a massage from my spouse. terrible.

I recently went for the facial and swedish massage package and it was amazing! It was my first time getting a massage and i really didn't know what to expect and was nervous but the staff made me feel very comfortable. I will definately be going back again!

I visited the spa for 3 treatments and when I arrived and requested my massage last they told me that I could not have the order that I prefered because they were fully booked. The staff did not even attempt to accomodate my request. When I suggested that maybe the staff should ask for preference when the appointment is booked, the manager was very indignant and unresponsive. I did not feel like a valued customer. I left and wrote to the manager who said sorry we were busy and if my staff do not ask, for your preference, you the customer have to ask them. They have no clue about good customer service. If this was an indication of the service that I would receive, I knew that it would not be relaxing at all. I will never go back, nor refer anyone there.

I have actually been to this spa several times as a result of being given gift certificates. (Once at their previous location and twice at the current location). The first time I was shorted time on my deep tissue massage which was more like a swedish massage...was not compensated for the unsatisfactory service. The second time, I scheduled a swedish with reflexology. First, the therapist was misinformed about what services I purchased and kept insisting I was wrong. That set the tension up a notch. Then, he forgot about the reflexology...clearly because he did not know how to do it...when I brought to his attention that he forgot about it, he proceded to rub my feet in a very basic way. He had no idea how to do reflexology! The third visit was another tension filled massage. The room was too cold and the therapist worked too fast and was obviously preoccupied with something on her mind...felt a total disconnection. None of my comments or complaints was ever addressed by management. The most I got was an "I'm sorry" from the girl at the desk...who was more concerned about going back to her personal call on her cell phone. All of my friends & family know to never purchase a gift certificate from this spa ever again.

this spa is tucked away on central ave and when you walk in its an oasis in the middle of urban life. but dont get excited, it looks pretty but the customer service is horrible. they were so loud upstairs that you could hear everything when you were in their silent waiting room downstairs. i dont want to hear about the staff's personal lives! then, my masseuse arrives to take me for the massage and she was so apathetic about it and didnt care about what she was doing at all! the pressure, if she hurt me, if she was working out any knots etc. and she just flopped my limbs around like steaks. so i paid, left and then i was like you know what i should complain because its a fair amount of money for poor service. so i did, and she took the names and my info and said she would look into it and call me back, which she never did. so i dont know what happened in the end. DO NOT GO HERE!

I had my bachelorette party there with my friends and the mothers. It was exactly what you need before the big day. My mom and mother-in-law are already planning when to return. It was the only place I found that could accomodade the size of my group. We all left feeling "Tranquil"!

This was my first visit to the Tranquility Spa and it certainly won't be my last. I'm so glad that I found a place that caters to my needs for stress detox. Let me begin by commenting on the ambiance of the Spa, simply, tranquil and inviting. I received three services during my first visit and I must say that the Deep Tissue Massage was awesome!, the European facial was really great and the Seaweed Full Body Wrap was very pampering leaving my skin feeling brand new. Overall, this Spa is very clean and I will definitely recommend this Spa to family and friends.

Overall it was a nice experience. Comfy robes, nice ambiance. However, I don't feel very comfortable being in a robe where there are members of the oposite gender around. The area was beautifully decorated and was relaxing. The massage room was cold. So much so that I asked for a space heater. It was only fall at the time. I wonder what its like in the Winter. For my massage I slipped into a cold bed in a cold room. That wasnt pleasant. The staff was nice and accomodating. If these issues were improved I would definately go back.

To be fair, I have only gone here once. The atmosphere was very nice, the locker room was spacious and the robes were so comfy. However, I wasnt really impressed with the massage itself, it was ten minutes shy of the full hour and the girl was actually chewing gum which annoyed me. Ive gotten much better massages at other spas, so I would probably not return unless there was a very good special running, and then i might give it another shot.

Convenient location, friendly staff, terrific dressing room with lots of big fluffy towels. The offer all of the amenities that you would need to get yourself showered and ready to go after a lovely interval of stress reduction. Therapists are top notch and really care about making your service right for you. I have never had a problem with my reservations which you cannot always say about other spas. My only complaint is that there is no longer any hot tea in the "relaxation lounge."

Tranquility Spa offers a wonderful spa experience. I have gone to several spas but Tranquility Spa is still my favorite! Their services are wonderful and the atmosphere is very tranquil (like their name). My favorite services are the 1 hour swedish massage and the sea salt body polish. Very soothing and invigorating. I definitely recommend this spa to anyone who is looking for a true relaxing spa experience.
