I never had good experiences with stylists before I met Chloe. I've been going to her religiously for over two years. Everyone always comments on my coloring. She is amazing!

I got a facial with Jessica it was amazing and very relaxing. She showed me products afterwards which i was able to purchase with my certificate. My haircut with Emma felt like the quickest haircut I have ever gotten.

It was my first visit here and it was great. I went for a haircut, but it was located in the spa location. I am in love with my haircut and the service. It wasn't over-the-top service, but it was great for the price and people seemed honest and down-to-earth. The only thing that bugged me was that my stylist didn't give me a consult before she washed my hair. They had no problems accepting the spafinder gift certificate. I'd go there again for their salon services, maybe even for a spa service.

I've only ever been to this spa for a bikini wax. The staff providing the wax were very nice, cordial and helpful. However, I did notice that they were double dipping the wax stick, which means that bacteria from other people can get in the wax and be spread on me. Within 24 hours of being waxed (not for the first time) I developed a staff infection (diagnosed by a doctor) in the waxed area. When I called the spa and spoke to the staff (I assked for the spa manager) they insisted that I was unclean and questioned whether I was self-diagnosing my infection. They insisted that their staff does not double dip in the wax (which I saw with my own eyes) and were not very keen on the idea of refunding me my money. They also did not want to take any blame for the situation, they flat out told me that I was an "uncle; an person"which I am not, I fully cleaned myself prior to the wax. My experience with the staff when there was an issue was very unpleasant and not customer service oriented. I would not return here for any service based on the attitude from spa management.

There are two different parts to this - a spa and salon. Love the products they use in the salon. Facial was excellent and so was pedicure.

I have recently discovered Jean Paul in Stuyvesant Plaza and I love it! I've had a facial twice at the spa location, and a great haircut at the salon location. Francesca did the facials, and I will definitely be back for regular visits. Jeffrey cut my hair, and he took time to listen and actually did what I asked! I'm used to having my hair come out to be whatever the stylist wants rather than what I want (I've never figured out this bad trend). I loved the cut Jeffrey gave me, and will be back.

Jean Paul is two different locations within the same shopping center. One location houses the hair salon, and the other location has the spa plus an additional hair styling section. Pedicures here are very good. With many pedicurists on staff, you will find a favorite. Mine is Veronica. I also highly recommend massage therapist Autumn.

I was treated to a facial and manicure as a thank you gift. This was my 1st facial and I loved every minute of it. The length was perfect and the staff was very knowledgeable. I have now had many more facials due to this experience. I also had a manicure and it was less than perfect. I do a better job at home, so I have never booked another manicure here. I am looking forward to another fantastic facial!
