About Cinnabar Acupuncture
Cinnabar Acupuncture Clinic and Spa is focused on healing clients from the inside out. The spa's logo and name are inspired by Cinnabar, a deep red mineral associated with ancient Chinese alchemy and symbolic of transformation and renewal. Décor is Zen-inspired and there are six treatment rooms in the 1,700-square-foot spa. Cinnabar's services are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the spa incorporates organic products and services into its menu. Offerings include acupuncture-related services, acupuncture facial rejuvenation, facials and peels, microdermabrasion, Chinese herbal consultation, cupping, moxibustion, a variety of massage modalities, photorejuvenation, Tuina (Chinese massage), face and body endermologie, ear acupressure, sugar hair removal, nutritional counseling and medical qigong. About a month ago, I received the one hour session of acupuncture for my first time. I was nervous, but Judith made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Once I left, I instantly noticed a difference and couldn't wait until I could book my next appointment! My second visit was specifically for an injured knee and foot from running. I can honestly say my knee hasn't bothered me since and the session completely alleviated the pain that was bothering me so much before. I am excited for the next time I can go see her again! :)

I arrived a little early for my appointment and was offered a choice of teas while I waited. As a tea-drinking Brit, I was impressed that the water was boiled in a kettle! As I waited, I also appreciated the clean, fresh space.
Massage rooms were dark, quiet, with soothing music that wasn't too "Zen-cheesy". The massage table was comfortable, too.
Staff were friendly, chilled out, and accommodating. My masseuse, Jessica, was incredible. I enjoyed a 90-minute massage that was invigorating and soothing at the same time. I liked her upbeat but peaceful energy. She was sensitive to my issues and clearly loves what she does.
I am looking forward to my next visit!

I visited Cinnabar because of two reasons : 1) I was interested in trying acupuncture and 2) I had a Spafinders gift certificate.
Everything exceeded my expectations ..From the lovely calming ambiance to the quality of the staff to most importantly how I felt after treatment.
I suffer from severe achilles tendonitis and I'm always in a moderate amount of pain. After being treated by Lia for Acupuncture and then Derek for massage, I can honestly say that I feel like a new person. I went in with pain and left pain free. It is 12 hours later and I'm still feeling great.
I highly, highly recommend this Spa/Clinic and I will be back as often as possible.

Judith helped me with both physical and emotionally caused symptoms that affected my body when I experienced a great loss recently. I had no idea that acupuncture could alleviate the many symptoms that I was experiencing. The clinic also provided me with a message therapist that diminished my physical symptoms after I had food poisoning. Thank you all so much. I am so glad you are there to serve in such a special way.

The person that pregnant woman was talking about is Sabrina. I had a pregnancy massage with her last weekend. And I plan to go back for acupuncture and another massage this weekend. Sabrina was very nice and personable. She did exactly what I wanted her to do.

I've had several services here, but the one I keep coming back for is the acupuncture. Lia and Judith are both amazing. Whether you're there to treat pain, just relax, or recenter your body or mind acupuncture will do the trick!

I was pregnant, so I was so pleased when Cinnabar was able to accommodate me for a massage. The location was a little out of the way for me, but I was willing to try the place out on my way home from work (in San Marcos) . The place was easy to find and very nice. The decor and ambiance was very tranquil. When I walked in, I was offered something to drink (I just had water) and filled out some forms. I don't remember waiting very long. The service room was average size and clean.
OMG... i wish I knew the name of my masseuse (blonde, older lady) because I would love to come back for a service with her specifically again. I mean... I NEVER fall asleep during massages. In fact, I'm not usually a fan of massages. The only reason why I even got one was because I was in my third trimester and totally needed it. So my masseuse starts working on me. She did such an amazing job that I feel asleep! ahhh... I was soo relaxed. I didn't want it to end! She used just the right amount of pressure and worked every part of my body to a tee.
*sigh* ... If I find out who that lady is, I'll be back. =)

I really enjoyed coming to the spa. People there are very helpful and the atmosphere there is very relaxing. My only complaint is that it is more like a spa and not a wellness center. I went in for acupuncture for a pain I was having and no matter how many times asked, they never gave me some sort of wellness plan to fix the pain I was having. I felt like they deal with people coming in for just one treatment and not a series.

Accupuncture, herbs and endermologie have given me more results and hope than yoga, personal training and a dermatologist combined. Lia and Judith demonstrate care, competency and talent with compassion and dedication. Cinnabar is in a league of its own!

4S Ranch is so lucky to have such a luxurious and tranquil spa in their functional 4S commons area. The colors, the atmosphere and the service are all absolutely first rate. I brought my mother in and treated her to a facial that included a mini-massage and she fell asleep! It's not an exaggeration when I say that her skin glowed after her treatment. I now attend regular Cinnabar acupuncture sessions because Judith and Lia have coupled them with herbal treatments and I definitely feel a positive change in my overall health. Moms seem to know what's best and it's great to see moms taking their children in to either receive acupuncture or massage therapy. It's no wonder... because this spa is without a doubt, an incredible find.
