Publishing Vet Susannah Pask Named Publisher of Spa Finder Magazine

Former Primedia Group Publisher Missy Godfrey Named to Spa Finder Board; Pieces in Place to Take Magazine to Next Level as Consumer Interest in Spa Lifestyle Continues to Explode

New York, NY- April 1, 2004

Spa Finder Magazine, the largest spa lifestyle and information publication, has named Susannah M.L. Pask, formerly of Fairchild Publications, as its new publisher. In a related move, the magazine's parent company, Spa Finder Inc., has also named respected publishing vet Missy Godfrey, the former Primedia and Worth publisher, to its board of directors. The appointments underscore Spa Finder's mission to take Spa Finder Magazine, already one of the fastest-growing leisure/lifestyle publications, to the next level in terms of distribution and advertising opportunities.

"When it comes to content and reader enthusiasm, Spa Finder Magazine has really hit its stride - fresh off a year marked by prestigious editorial awards and brisk sell-through numbers," said Spa Finder Inc. President and Chairman Pete Ellis. Healthy spa living has reached the mainstream. Pask and Godfrey provide the experience and expertise we need to continue our growth as the leading publication for a coveted audience of affluent, health-conscious readers."

Pask and Godfrey both have strong backgrounds in business development, and particularly in growing advertising revenues. Pask most recently served as a publisher for Fairchild Publications, where she was the launch publisher of W Jewelry, while helping to revitalize Salon News magazine. Prior to Fairchild, Pask was senior vice president and publisher of Bridal Guide Magazine, which achieved the largest market share increase in the bridal field during her tenure. Pask was also publisher of Metropolitan Home, managing a major format upgrade and helping to place the magazine on Adweek Magazine's "Hot List" two years in a row. She achieved similar success as publisher and advertising director of Atlantic Monthly, where she helped to grow ad revenues by 155% while more than doubling ad pages.

Godfrey, an operating partner with the merchant bank Tri-Artisan LLP, was most recently VP financial advisor for Bernstein Investment Research and Management. Previously, she managed all business operations for Primedia's Cover Concepts, an in-school communications company. She was also group manager of Primedia's Youth Entertainment Group, steering the successful re-launches of Tiger Beat, Teen Beat and BOP. Godfrey enjoyed similar success as publisher of Worth, where she increased ad revenues four-fold; as advertising/marketing director for Countryside Magazine, where she increased ad pages 185%; and as category manager for American Express' Departures, where she launched the initial sales and marketing efforts for the highly successful publication.
