Located west of the Mediterranean Sea, Spain is diverse in every aspect from its language and climate to its spas. From the well-known Galicia and Catalonia regions, where spas are as much a part of the local culture as an evening fiesta, to the south of Spain known for white-washed traditional villages, spa-goers are guaranteed a soothing experience.

Galicia, located in the northwest of Spain, is well-known for its spa culture. Primarily concentrated in the Ourense province, the spas of Galicia focus on thalassotherapies and the healing powers of mud baths. Directly opposite Galicia on the northeast coast of Spain lies Catalonia. This region is home to the nation's capital, the Catalan language and culture, and a host of spas. Visitors can bask in its diverse terrain including the vineyards and olive groves of the south, the pristine coast of the east, and the Pyrenees mountain range to the north.
