Seven Hours of........
I went to Sydney Albert for the first last week. I was super excited to get my hair cut and colored! Never, in my wildest dreams, could I have imagined what I was in store for...Let me start by saying that at first, everyone there was very pleasant. What followed was a seven hour ( Yes, 7 HOURS) experience that was probably the worst I have ever had. I used words like brassy and golden to describe exactly what I did NOT want in terms of color. In addition I offered a picture from a magazine to further illustrate the type of color I WAS looking for...what did I get seven hours later? Golden, brassy color that frankly, I could just as easily gotten from a box of ordinary hair dye.
At first the salon encouraged me to let them fix it and against my better judgement I let them try. Now again, I got there at 10:45 for an 11:00 appointment and I did not leave the salon until 6:15 pm!! My scalp was burning from the harsh chemicals they used, the color was one unknown to the natural world and the manager was quite possibly one of the rudest human beings I have had the misfortune to come across.
I cannot express how utterly disappointed I was with the services I received but more so with the managers discourteous, bad-mannered, and down right cruel treatment. I am sure I am not the first person to be unhappy with a salon service, but if the way I was spoken to is any indication of the salons "heart" it is black and cold. Shame on Sydney Albert's customer service skills, and shame on their utter lack of empathy. I sincerely hope that I am the first and last person to be treated in such a disrespectful, mean spirited manner.
