BEST Massage ever!
I was new to The Cape and was looking for a salon that was close to my home, but most importantly they had to be Very Good. I have a bad back and recently had a numbing on the left side of my face. I was on various amounts of medicine for my face and had seen many medical professionals regarding this issue. My first visit with the owner of Sol Spa, Jannell resolved my pain and my numbness! I now have purchased a special package which allows me to have a monthly massage and the pain in my face is gone. I have also discontinued the medicine that the Doctors had me on,since they really could not identify the cause. She identified very quickly that the pain was muscular and handled it accordingly. I always look forward to my massages in the relaxing and comfortable environment that Sol Spa provides . Excellent Spa!

INCREDIBLE
I go to Sol Spa whenever I get a chance (with 2 kids and a full-time job it's not as often as I'd like). I have never had a better expirence anywhere! From the moment you walk in the door to the time you leave you feel welcomed, relaxed and serene. I highly recommend Sol Spa to anyone in the area. They are fabulous!

Just What The Doctor Ordered
Recently I was diagnosed with sciatica. My doctor recommended I go for a massage with Jannell, the owner of Sol Spa. I called for an appointment and Jannell answered the phone and had me coming to see her within 24 hours. Since I'm not usually a massage person, I was a little nervous and a lot skeptical. Jannell made me feel safe and welcome. Her space is beautiful, an indoor garden of houseplants and flowers with an amazing smell and a tranquil atmosphere. Immediately I was on the road to recovery... Jannell explained to me what exactly sciatica is, how it happens, and what her plans to help me were; this is something that impressed me to no end. She is knowledgable and able to communicate very well. After only a few minutes on the table, I knew I was going to be transformed. With just the right pressure and the perfect stretching and stroking, Jannell had my pain down considerably. I went back for a second treatment a week later, Jannell gave me some exercises to do at home, and now 4 weeks later I am still pain free. I am so grateful to Jannell and her expertise working with the biomechanics of the body. Now I am going to treat myself to a facial...! :-)

Great prenatal massage
My husband and I visited this spa as part of our babymoon package in Chatham. While my hubby chose the Swedish hot stone massage I had to go for the prenatal massage being 28 months along. We both had a wonderful experience and the designated 1 hour just flew by. Both the massage therapists were very versed in their profession and I would definitely recommend their services.

bad experience!
I went for a pedicure here and was handed over to a teenager who was still in beauty school. The pedicure consisted of her washing my feet, rubbing a file over each foot three times, and painting my nails. No trimming of anything, no pampering or creams. I was so disappointed...wanted to like this place. Not crazy about the atmosphere - the whole business seems very amateurish....
Response from Sol Spa
Dear Catherine, My name is Jannell Brown. I own Sol Spa in Harwich Port, MA. I have read your review, and I'm sorry to say that i believe you have our spa confused with another. We have been open in our Harwich Port location since Sept 1, 2009. The youngest member of our team of professionals is 32 years old. Generally, we are known for our outstanding massages and facials, and people who receive manicures or pedicures with us usually add those services into a package. Very rarely do we perform single manicures or pedicures. Our nail technicians are all dually licensed, meaning that either a licensed aesthetician or a licensed massage therapist has taken the 100 hour course necessary in the state of Massachusetts to acquire a nail technician's license. Since our opening in September 2009 we have had Debbie and Mary who are both in their early 50's and were licensed aestheticians prior to becoming licensed nail technicians. Wherever you had your poor experience with a teenage student, it was not with us and I assure you that we are nothing but professional and strive to offer the best, most relaxing and therapeutic services we can. Afterall, we are all middle-aged women and we know how to treat people well. Sincerely, Jannell Brown, owner

A SANCTUARY ON THE CAPE
My girlfriends and I had a great time at this all natural holistic spa where the owner custom blends products for use and for retail. The massage was the best, and I mean the BEST I have ever had. Combined with the tranquil ambiance, the delicious organic tea and fruit, we did not want to leave! We spent the whole afternoon relaxing and renewing....and can't wait to do it again.
