Made it impossible to cancel appointment
I scheduled an appointment for a friend and myself. Unfortunately, we both came down with an illness. Two days prior to the appointment, I called to cancel. I had to leave a message, as nobody answered the phone. I left another message the day prior, asking that they call me back to confirm. I didn't receive a call back. In the meantime, I received an email confirming my appointment. I responded to this email saying I wouldn't be able to make it. The email did NOT bounce and did not state it was an automated email. Today, I receive a call saying I missed the appointment and would be charged. I called them back (amazingly, they answer the phone today!) and am told that unless I pay the balance, I will not be able to reschedule. I don't know what else I could have done to cancel the appointment. Their complete lack of customer service is appalling. As if I would try to reschedule - EVER! Buyer beware. They have VERY shady practices going on. It's a shame, because I enjoyed my previous visit.
