The award-winning Ritz-Carlton Spa at this northern California resort features an array of treatments to refresh the spirit. Signature options include the Coastal Lavender Indulgence, Redwood Forest Ritual and Pearlescence Facial, among other services for body, mind, and soul.
The 16,000-square-foot spa houses 15 treatment rooms, men’s and women’s lounges with whirlpools, sauna and steam rooms and a candlelit, co-ed whirlpool with Tsunami showers. There is also a Technogym-equipped fitness center.

Half Moon Bay consists of five distinct regions. The coastal region of Half Moon Bay, where The Ritz-Carlton resides, offers world-class beaches, horseback riding, and oceanfront dining, while historic Main Street presents dining, art, and shopping. The Pumpkin Region highlights organic fruit stands, wine tasting, farms, and glass blowing, and the Redwood Region allows guests to hike, bike, or horseback ride amongst the awe-inspiring northern California scenery. Finally, the Santa Cruz Mountain Region boasts more than 70 wineries.
At the resort, enticements encompass an executive business center, cardio- and strength training-equipped fitness center, indoor heated pool, and three gas fire pits overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Fitness aficionados have a wealth of sporting activities at their disposal, including access to two Half Moon Bay Golf Links championship courses, tennis amenities utilizing Peter Burwash International instruction, a basketball court, and coast-side jogging and biking path.

Showcasing the natural beauty of the rugged California coastline, accommodations consist of separate guest houses and a six-story main building, which includes the Ritz-Carlton Spa, workout facilities, three dining outlets, Club Lounge, and lobby check-in. In-room amenities comprise feather beds with duvets, 300-thread-count Egyptian-cotton sheets, and 100-percent goose-down pillows; marble bathrooms with separate shower and bathtub; and safes.
The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, houses a total of 261 rooms, 22 of which are spacious suites.
The resort features three fine dining options—Navio, The Conservatory and The Ocean Terrace—that treat guests’ senses to an idyllic culinary experience in the Bay Area. Navio highlights the purest flavors of the Pacific, while The Conservatory Lounge serves a homegrown, handcrafted menu. The Ocean Terrace allows guests to enjoy the sound of crashing waves while sipping a signature cocktail and sharing a raw bar and grill menu.
