The popular Shane Diet & Fitness Resorts weight-loss program runs in two locations; year round in San Antonio, Texas and summers in the Catskill Mountains of New York.
The Texas program is based at La Cantera Hill Country Resort, set atop San Antonio’s highest point. Here, against the backdrop of lush rolling terrain, the all-inclusive, affordable program delivers great short- and long-term weight losses through expert staff in the key areas of fitness, nutrition, and behavior change coaching. Registered dietitian-supervised meals are portion-controlled and prepared by the acclaimed resort’s chefs. Fitness is achieved through a variety of classes run by expert coaches. Small group behavior coaching helps guests set and accomplish long-term weight loss and fitness goals. Program includes lodging, all meals/snacks, and private nutrition and personal training sessions to establish an at-home plan. Optional services—medical health screening, metabolism testing, DXA scanning, and private behavior coaching—are available.
Shane Diet & Fitness Resorts was created by the owners of Camp Shane, the prominent, longest-running weight loss camp nationwide, with locations in five states.
Shane Diet participants must be 18. Program offered from one to 12 weeks and a three-day jump-start weekend. Custom packages available.
