VERY POOR QUALITY: PAID 4 REDO ELSEWHERE
I cannot stress enough the poor quality I received. I went in for a Tula mani/pedi and brow waxing and left with uneven toe nails, and skin so dry I had to immediately go to another place to get another pedicure. The polish was unevenly applied, nails cut too short and filed unevenly. Also, I have nice full eyebrows and one was over waxed at the end to a thing point. I was totally underwhelmed with the entire experience. I did express my dissatisfaction. The only positive note is the reception staff were very pleasant. The Tula mani/pedi there was no moisturizer whatsoever. You soaked your feet, the clipped toe nails, quickly filed, did a quick quarter size of salt or sugar scrub and polished. That was it. I get pedicures during the warm season on a bi-weekly basis I have never had one this bad. So disappointed. A waste of time and money.

I made an appointment at The Woodhouse Spa New Orleans on my birthday using a gift card that my boyfriend got me. I am a surgical tech and was on call at the last minute the day of my appointment. When I made the appointment they asked for my credit card # and that If I didn't cancel within 24 hours I would be charged a service fee.I was called in and didn't make my birthday appointment. No worries I thought because I would have to pay a small service fee. I checked my bank account to see what the service fee was and I was shocked to see that I was charged for the services that I was scheduled for. They do not tell you over the phone that you will be charged for full services at all. I will never spend another dollar in this place. There is a reason why they are not members of BBB. I didn't realize The Woodhouse Spa was hurting that bad for money that they had to rip off their customers. I was told over the phone that they would gladly give me 50% off my next visit. LOL Poor business etiquette and very poor customer service skills. Happy Birthday to me

LOVE this place!
Been many times and have NEVER had a negative experience. Weekdays are best as weekends are busy. The staff is excellent and always calm and helpful.

A perfect escape
Did the Woodhouse Escape. It was perfect. The worker was lovely, and it was a great 110 minutes. The body scrub followed by the hot stone massage was amazing. I left feeling very relaxed. I also just enjoy the facility. They have a great atmosphere. You wait in the relaxation room until your therapist takes you back to your room. They have soothing lights and relaxing music on. They also get points for their locker rooms. The overhead showers are amazing, and they have hairbrushes, dryers, etc. to make sure you can get ready to go back out into the world.

Excellent day spa with very friendly staff
I've been twice now and am planning a third treatment. Each time the service was excellent. The Minkyti Facial was world class. The pedicure exceptional. I enjoyed the robe & slippers service as it instantly relaxes you. My only complaint was that the quiet room wasn't as quiet as you could hear commotion on the other side of the doors. Located in mid-city with parking on the corner.

Slightly Above Average
My preference on a day spas are facilities with amenities; Woodhouse lacked these as they do not offer a sauna, steam room or Jacuzzi. They do offer a women's locked with showers and a mixed use quiet room. I booked at Woodhouse because they accepted spafinder gift cards. As for my massage I requested the majority of the time be spent on my upper back. I'd way through my massage I reminded my therapist of my request. At the end of my treatment my therapist stated that while customers request particular attention to an area he knows what he's doing and a does whole body massage to release any trigger points. While there may be a basis to his theory he and Woodhouse need to ensure the instructions of the paying customer are followed.
