SERVICES & CLASSES
Modern with a tropical flair, Nalu Kinetic Spa—derived from the Hawaiian word for relaxation—is located on the resort's western edge on a rocky outcrop overlooking the ocean. Spa-goers can indulge in a massage in one of the 10 treatment rooms or in an outdoor cabana, where they can hear the sound of the surf crashing against the shore. The spa's outdoor relaxation lounge looks out on the water, and the 11,000-square-foot facility also comprises a garden area and full-service hair salon.
Many of the spa's indigenous treatments are inspired by the sea and surrounding area, including such specialties as the signature Undaria Antioxidant Body Wrap, which blends organic Undaria and white algae. Body and skincare options include hot stone and chi balance massages and the Sea of Life anti-aging and Kane (men’s) facials. Services can be combined to create a Nalu package for an individual or a couple, including the Surfers Get Away or the Partner Spa Journey.

Facilities & Amenities
With a full range of activities and five miles of beach, Turtle Bay can cater to relaxation-seeking or active travelers. The resort has saltwater pools, tennis courts, horseback riding stables, 10-plus miles of hiking trails, a Hans Hedemann Surf School, and a shopping gallery. As well, there are two 18-hole golf courses: The back nine on the horseshoe-shaped Palmer Course is set in a tropical jungle landscape, while the Fazio Course's flat, rolling fairways are friendly to those with high handicaps.
Resort guests are also welcome to discover why National Geographic called Oahu’s North Shore “one of the wonders of the world.” There are beaches and boutiques that help make up the area’s bohemian surf culture, an azure sea for surfing and paddleboarding, and the nearby town of La’ie, home to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Tours of Oahu are available on the resort's helicopters, or guests can take Segway and kayak tours to revel in the region’s verdant rainforests and blue waters.

Rooms & Dining
All of the 443 guest rooms have spectacular ocean views, private lanais, and island-inspired decor. Averaging 478 square feet in size, guest rooms and suites are designed with one king- or two queen-size beds, full bath with vanity, and wireless Internet access. Forty-two beach cottages are located just steps from the ocean and feature Brazilian walnut flooring, 15-foot ceilings, poster beds, large marble bathrooms with deep-soaking tubs, and private concierge, or Ho’okipa, service.
The resort's collection of restaurants entices with fine Hawaiian Island cuisine. Options include North Shore Kula Grille, which showcases farm-to-table cuisine, and Pa'akai, where an inventive twist plays up a menu of local seafood and other regionally sourced fare. As well, locals and world travelers flock to Surfer, The Bar, for its big-screen stage, where musicians play everything from traditional Hawaiian to hip hop.
