Quoted One Price, Charged Me Another
I wanted to get a haircut as a walk in. I asked the receptionist the cost of a men's haircut and was told $35-$45 depending on the stylist. I agreed and Sahar cut my hair. When I went the pay, they charged me $56. I stated that I was quoted a maximum of $45 they said this particular stylist was $56. I was irritated as I felt this was a bait and switch. I subsequently received an email inquiring how satisfied I was with the salon. Before I wrote this review, I responded to the email asking that a manager call so I could discuss my experience. I never received a response. I will never return to Spa Noa nor could I recommend it to anyone else.

I got a SpaFinder gift card from work last year, so I decided to use it before I went on vacation. I don't get manicures often, maybe once a year. The manicurist was on the phone for half the time during our session, she forgot to paint some of my nail, and didn't clean off my skin where she got some paint. (if I could post a picture I would) I even contemplated taking the nail polish off and redoing it myself! This is the absolute worst manicure I have ever gotten!

I love Spa Noa
I have been going to Spa Noa for about two years now and I always received top notch service. I find them more reasonably priced than the Aveda spas and receive the same quality services for less money. I went there earlier this week for a massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. Many thanks to Val for the wonderful massage; to Tee for the beautiful Mani / Pedi; and of course to my favorite esthetician who always does incredible work, Nina. By the way, thanks, Nina, for the great tip to be rid of dry, flaky lips. (Sorry, but you'll have to make an appointment with Nina for that tip)! Keep up the great work, Spa Noa!

Been coming here 15 yrs+ for a reason - it's great!
I have been going to Spa Noa for over 15 years and absolutely love it. The reception staff and the masseuses and estheticians are absolutely top-notch. To the point that when I go on vacations with girlfriends and they want the hit the spa, I have learned to "pass" because the cost is twice as much as Spa Noa, and the massages especially never live up to the ones at Spa Noa. I wait until I get back home! In the past couple years they have done a complete renovation inside and it is really gorgeous and relaxing and pretty turquoise now. You are offered refreshments and nice snacks constantly and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, relaxed and happy. You get your choice of massage oils / smells and they've ALL smelled great to me! I'm not that big on facials but the few I've had there were wonderful, and the esthetician never put a mask treatment on me and left me for an alarmingly long time like the one time I had one at Red Door down the road! I've tried all the masseuses and all are outstanding, but my favorites are Amy and Becky. They now have added hair services, and although I was nervous I was ready for a change, she did a GREAT job with blonde highlights (and lowlights) and a great cut and style. Altho this place is in a strip mall near Whole Foods, make sure you try it out! It doesn't look like a Canyon Ranch on the outside, but neither are the prices! p.s. Sign up for their email specials, and on the few days they aren't booked up they will send out last minutes 10-20% off specials for that day.

I have to agree with the first review - disappointing
I had a similar experience: my time was cut short but I don't wear a watch so I didn't notice it until I got to my car. And since it was a gift massage, I didn't feel OK complaining about it. It wasn't a very soothing experience (no music), and the massage oil smelled funny like it was rancid. I even asked the therapist about it but she said it was a hypoallergenic gel. It might have been but still distracting. It's been almost a year so I hope this spa has improved and/or gotten rid of the previous therapist. I'd hate someone to go through the same experience I did.

I didn't enjoy my massage. I give it a 4 on 10 point scale. The guy even said at the end of the massage, I don't usually do my massages this way... Maybe you should stick with what works. Didn't enjoy paying $95 for a 50 min massage. Calvert Rejuvenation down the street is AWESOME and only $85 for 60 minutes!
Something doesn't smell right here. Our massages are a FULL 60 minutes, the room is blocked for 1:15 to account for turning over the room (this is a major difference between Spa Noa and our competitors). To directly plug a competitor (who is a former Spa Noa employee) is a little odd as well. We certainly feel terrible that someone didn't enjoy their experience. If this person would come back in and identify themself, we'll do another massage for free.
