SERVICES & CLASSES
Deriving its philosophy from healing traditions indigenous to India, Jiva Grande Spa is an expansive 30,000-square-foot wellness center tucked into a verdant rainforest setting. Facilities include three couple’s suites with soaking tubs, two Ayurveda treatment rooms, a wellness café, beauty salon, library, and gym. An inner sanctuary is home to yoga and meditation practices, and an entire level is dedicated to the therapeutic powers of hydrotherapy, encompassing steam, sauna, pool, Jacuzzi, and shower fixtures.
Spa-goers will not only appreciate Jiva’s comprehensive amenities but the varied menu of services as well, which range from exotic rituals like the Coorg-inspired Gudda Bath—which begins with an herbal massage followed by a hot bath filled with water heated from the gudda, or copper vessel—to contemporary massage and wraps to couple-, men-, bride-, and kid-specific treatments. Other treatments such as the signature Udhanna body scrub, incorporating avocado, coffee beans, and rice powder, balance while reinvigorating body and mind.
Yoga, Ayurvedic detox, and stress management retreats are held year round.

The 63 guest accommodations are constructed around rolling hills and canopied woods as to not disturb the glorious landscape yet still afford the ultimate in forest vistas; premium indulgence rooms even rest atop elevated platforms to provide a bird’s-eye view of the 180-acre property. Design influences echo traditional Coorg-style houses, with sloping roofs, stately pillars, and expansive, open entryways, and lovely appointments feature oil paintings, ergonomic furniture, LED TVs, and in some instances, fireplaces, balconies, and heated plunge pools. Stone-fixture bathrooms present rain showers and all-natural bath products.
Healthy spa cuisine is offered at each of the five dining establishments, including the multi-fare Fern Tree restaurant. Nellaki emphasizes local Coorg dishes, while Dew, with its innovative wellness concept, serves crisp salads, dim sum, whole-wheat pastas, and slow-cooked fish.
