Six Senses Spa Zighy Bay

The Awesome Rugged Beauty Of Oman

Nestled between a rocky mountain landscape and a nearly mile-long stretch of private sandy beach on Oman’s northern Musandam Peninsula, Six Senses Zighy Bay provides a spectacular destination escape for guests seeking relaxation and seclusion. Arrival by a dramatic drive down the mountains, paraglide, or speedboat set the stage for a sublime experience at this 18-acre beachfront resort overlooking the Gulf of Oman, which features a private marina, mountaintop restaurant, and saltwater pool. At Six Senses Spa, guests can unwind with yoga in an open-air pavilion, work out in an outdoor jungle gym, or opt for a signature treatment in one of two hammams; a comprehensive spa menu highlights sensory, Asian, and locally influenced services based upon ancient Omani rituals. Sandy paths and palm-shaded laneways woven into the resort’s traditional Omani fishing village setting lead guests to indigenous villa pool accommodations.

Designed to be a refuge for mind and body, Six Senses Spa welcomes guests with naturally lit treatment areas, two Omani hammam rooms, and open-air pavilions for yoga and meditation classes. An assortment of wellness experiences caters to the senses, accompanied by organic Six Senses products and native herbs and plant life. Offerings include the Six Senses Signature Massage, which begins with a foot compress and palm pressure beginning at the sole of the feet and concluding at the lower back.

The Six Senses collection also showcases  detoxifying, energizing, and holistic massage modalities, soothing, purifying, and nourishing facials, and jojoba, rice grain, and crushed coconut shell scrubs that balance, brighten, and renew, along with traditional Thai therapies—Balinese and bamboo massage—designed to promote relaxation and transfer energy flow throughout the body.
