SERVICES & CLASSES
Exotic and opulent, the elaborately designed Miraj Hammam Spa by Caudalie Paris resides on the fifth floor of Shangri-La Hotel and has nine treatment spaces: a Vichy wet room, six single rooms, and two double rooms, one of which is outfitted with a private changing area, steam shower, and barrel bath. At the heart of the spa are two hammam steam chambers intricately fashioned with Jerusalem gold marble; here, classic Middle Eastern therapies take place, including the Hammam and Gommage, a steam and body exfoliation using eucalyptus-infused black Moroccan soap. Spa-goers can also find renewal with signature Caudalie vinotherapy rituals that incorporate fresh grapes and wine extracts—the Crushed Cabernet Scrub, Honey and Wine Body Wrap, Vine Barrel Bath, and Vinoperfect Facial, among them.
Pre- or post-treatment, guests are escorted to the Alhembra Lounge to sip black chai mint tea and snack on baklava.

Facilities & Amenities
Shangri-La Hotel’s fifth level, or “wellness floor,” not only houses Miraj Hammam Spa by Caudalie Paris, but a 10,000-square-foot, 24-hour health and fitness center, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the cityscape. Guests can get their heart rates up with solo workouts on Technogym equipment, or in group yoga, aerobics, or spinning classes in a private studio. Additionally, the wellness floor houses a dazzling indoor swimming space, with a 20-meter-long, glass- and stone-tiled pool, flooded by natural light from overhead skylights and bordered by curtained cabanas; other amenities include an infrared sauna, Jacuzzi, and locker rooms with steam areas.
Shangri-La Hotel’s idyllic location in the center of Toronto’s financial and entertainment districts makes sightseeing effortless. North of the hotel is the Art Gallery of Ontario, famous for its 80,000-plus art-piece collection, while to the south is the city’s waterfront district, where days can be spent boutique shopping and café hopping. Northwest of the hotel lies the theater district.
Rooms & Dining
Shangri-La Hotel features just over 200 guest rooms, starting at 490 square feet. Asian-inspired interiors foster a residential feel, setting the stage for a tranquil, sophisticated escape. Marble bathrooms have deep soaking tubs and separate glass-enclosed showers, and rooms are laden with oversized windows, LCD flat-screen TVs, Nespresso coffeemakers, and large work desks.
Bosk, the hotel’s signature restaurant, serves modern Canadian cuisine with Asian flair and seasonal ingredients, enticing diners with dishes such as Ontario braised lamb, Quebec foie gras, and B.C. steelhead salmon. Lobby Lounge’s dramatic setting—two-story windows, oversized paintings, leather furnishings, and a one-of-a-kind, Italian-handcrafted Fazioli piano—perfectly pairs with an inspired menu of wines, cocktails, spirits, and teas. The Bar offers classic 1930s-type cocktails in a cozier atmosphere.
