Cancelled at last minute; wouldn't honor promotion
I booked a facial well in advance for a wedding I was going to. Late the night before, they called to cancel. I didn't get the message until that day, five minutes before my appointment. They had been offering a free pedicure with every facial booked, and they also refused to honor the pedicure part of the promotion, even though they had cancelled the facial on me well less than 24 hours before my appointment. The receptionist seemed rude and annoyed. I feel like they should have a backup or contingency plan for when their staff calls out; it's really unprofessional to flake on your clients (especially when we're counting on that appointment right before a special event). Also, not honoring the promotion they'd offered was doubly unprofessional.

I have gone to Gilda's for a while to get my hair done. Always have had a great experience. The spa part of Gilda's is in the back of the salon and I never knew it was there for almost a year! So thats kind of nice that is out of the way of the salon. Nice and quiet, take great care of you. I have nothing but good things to say!!!
