The Poplar Springs Spa was created to help guests lose the stress of everyday life, with a variety of healing massage services, beautifying facials and soothing body treatments. Guests at Poplar Springs also enjoy yoga, tennis, the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna, along with hiking, biking or just peaceful walks on the grounds. In addition, activities including horseback riding, fishing and exploring Civil War history are nearby.
Poplar Springs Inn and Spa has been described as, “…a storybook come to life.” And the hosts of the historic inn remind us that Celtic tradition calls places like Poplar Springs, “Thin Places”– a spot where the veil separating heaven and earth is like a porous net.
Once you experience a getaway in this serene setting, we think you’ll agree.

Rooms & Dining
Each beautifully decorated period room at Poplar Springs is unique and designed for your comfort. In 1922, the building that is now the Manor House Restaurant was constructed from fieldstones that are believed to have originated from the fireplaces of Civil War Union camps. Today, Chef Robin Woodrow “Woody” Isaac is dedicated to celebrating locally sourced meats and produce, and has created an exceptional dining experience inspired by his background in agriculture and passion for using fresh ingredients. The Manor House Restaurant is also famous for scrumptious deserts created by Pastry Chef Maggie Yabs Suge.
Located in the library of the Manor House, the Casanova Lounge is a perfect setting for fireside drinks in the winter and refreshing cocktails in the summer.
