Trinidad and Tobago

One of the most culturally diverse places in the Caribbean, this two-island nation has welcomed immigrants from throughout the world, including Africa, East India, Europe Asia, and the Middle East. Trinidad & Tobago (often referred to as T&T) lie just nine miles off the coast of Venezuela and are out of the path of must major hurricanes. Trinidad is the more lively of the two and hosts one of the wildest Carnival celebrations each year. It is also the birthplace of calypso, steel-drum music, and the limbo. Tobago is much quieter and encompasses miles of undeveloped beaches and protected rainforests.
