We enjoyed a couples' massage to begin our mid-winter weekend getaway at the Captain Merry Inn. It was the perfect beginning for a relaxing weekend.

After living in Chicago for many years, I was very pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a spa in our smaller town. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the staff are so gracious, and I've been very happy with the variety of services that I've tried. I especially recommend the facials. Their location in an historic river mansion just adds to the appeal.
