Allison Tray of Tres Belle MediSpa in Brooklyn, New York, helps us out with this recipe for a Glowing Skin Smoothie! Whip it up for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or a late night, guilt-free dessert!
What you’ll need:
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1 whole avocado, cubed
- 1/2 cup of strawberries
Blend with ice and enjoy!
Allison explained that the chia seeds are full of omega-3 fatty acids, which help keep our hair and skin silky and hydrated from within. Avocados are rich in antioxidants which protect our skin from environmental damage. Strawberries are packed with folic acid which works to boost new cell generation and turnover.
