One of the best aspects of fall (in our opinion) is the mouthwatering flavors that come with it: pumpkin, nutmeg, berries, cinnamon…And like us, spas can’t get enough of these autumn-like essences either, as they serve up tasty-sounding services that cater to the season. Here are just a few:
Spa at The Del at Hotel del Coronado – Coronado, CA: The dish on this spa’s two new services? The Blueberry & Redcurrant Facial (50 mins; $170) and Harvest Berry Facial (80 mins; $225) are inspired by fall’s most popular fruits and designed to prep skin for the seasonal weather. Both services use Eminence products.
The Spa at Trump SoHo – New York, NY: The Pumpkin Body Polish Treatment (60 mins; $195 weekdays/$215 weekend) promotes pure bliss for fall. A Perfect Pumpkin Peeling Enzyme Mask perks up tired, dry complexions with pumpkin extract, Vitamin A, and hyaluronic acid, followed by a Perfect Pumpkin Enzyme Polish for both face and body that uses pumpkin enzymes, crushed bamboo, and jojoba micro beads.
Hiatus Spa + Retreat – various locations: In October, enjoy the unique 18 Carrot farm-to-treatment ritual (80 mins; $128 H-Circle members/$195 non-members), which includes an antioxidant-rich mask crafted with 18 carrots sourced from local farms blended with black walnut hull powder, marjoram, oregano, cedarwood, and orange. The month of November brings about Creme Brûlée (80 mins; $128 H-Circle members/$195 non-members), a full-body brown sugar scrub, caramel and vanilla wrap, warm/cool stone face massage, Vichy shower, and vanilla and shea butter massage. Yum!
Relache Spa at Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center – Fort Washington, MD: Pumpkin spice and everything nice…The Pumpkin Spice Facial ($150/$160), which blends a “spicy puree” of fresh pumpkin, paprika, and soy; the Orange Cream Massage ($150/$160), a Swedish massage with a brown sugar pecan whiskey foot scrub; and the Orange Cream Pumpkin Spice Pedicure ($80/$85), incorporating a brown sugar pecan whiskey scrub, warm organic pumpkin puree mask, and orange cream foot massage; sound heavenly. Or, combine all three treatments with the Orange Cream Pumpkin Spice Experience ($325/$340). Available through November 13.
The Spa and Salon at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas – Dallas, TX: Get your pumpkin intake long before Thanksgiving—the Honey Pumpkin Souffle Manicure and Pedicure includes a FarmHouse Fresh Clementine sparkling soak and ginger-sorbet/body-milk massage. Or, get your fix with the Harvest Glow Hot Honey Treatment. A portion of the ritual encompasses a steaming spiced-cider hot towel wrap with Vitamin E and sweet almond oil. Available through November 30; pricing details provided upon request.
The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain – Avon, CO: This is a promotion you’re sure to fall for: The Fall Renewal Retreat, starting at $249 per night, encompasses overnight accommodations in a studio suite; four yoga classes; one chakra blessing spa treatment; a special spa gift; and valet parking. Offered through December 21 with a two-night minimum stay required.
SiSpa at Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa – Singer Island, FL/SiSpa at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa – Pompano Beach, FL: SiSpa celebrates the season of the gourd with the Muddy Pumpkin Wrap (50 mins; $99), rich in enzymes, beta-carotene, and antioxidants. The treatment begins with a pumpkin scrub and concludes with a soothing scalp and foot massage, shower, and “red hot” oil application.
