Nearly every Carnival ship has a Spa Carnival featuring state-of-the-art gym equipment and aerobics classes. Spa Carnival offers massages, manicure, and pedicures; facial masks and loofah treatments; sauna, steam, jogging track; fitness experts; hairstyling; and health and beauty treatments for both men and women.

TIP:Some cruise lines have started to allow the pre-booking of spa and salon treatments which is a real advantage because times fill up quickly.

Another thing to note is that many cruise ship spas use variable pricing. Meaning, the highest prices are charged during the times at sea with lower prices available when the ship is in port.

So, consider returning from your excursions a little early and having a nicely-priced massage after a long day of sightseeing as a cost-effective approach to spa-ing at sea.
