Available October 24-27, 2013, and October 31, 2013, spa-goers of The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles, can book a special Halloween makeup session with a local professional (the spa’s partnered up with some of Hollywood’s special effects masters) and be transformed! Special Effects Express Services, priced from $30, include: faux lash application; fang bites; superhero eye mask, Daisy Buchanan, Marilyn Monroe, or Kate Middleton; slit throat; and half-skeleton face. Full Face Transformations, priced from $150, include: Wicked Witch face; Grumpy Cat/animal face; Bride of Death; Walking Dead zombie face; Day of the Dead skull face; geisha face; and demon face. Spa-goers also get to sip fresh apple cider and snack on house-baked ginger cookies!
Okay, so not exactly scary, but Halloween-ish, nonetheless. The Spa at The Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is featuring the Great Pumpkin Facial (50 mins; Mon-Thurs $130/Fri-Sun $140).
