Starbucks knows, the customer is always right, so when over 84,000 customers request something, they deliver! You’ll soon be able to order your morning latte with a non-dairy, non-soy alternative… coconut milk!
The certified-vegan coconut milk is made from single-origin coconuts from the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Its rich, creaminess perfectly complements all of Starbucks’ beloved beverages and gives them a dose of healthy vitamins and minerals including fiber, B vitamins, iron, and magnesium.
Outside of the overwhelming popularity of coconut products, another reason the company opted for coconut milk was because of the food allergy complications that arise with tree nut milk. Something that didn’t stop competitor Dunkin Donuts from adding almond milk to its menu in September of last year, through a partnership with Blue Diamond.
Starbucks coconut milk hits barista shelves nationwide starting February 17 and we’ll be first in line!
